Setup

What does Delivery & Pickup – Scheduler do?

It lets a Shopify store offer a date, and a time slot when you turn times on, for shipping, store pickup, and local delivery. The customer’s choice is saved on the order.

You set the working days, closed dates, cutoff, buffer time, and locations. The app records the window. Packing, the route, and the handoff stay with the shop.

Setup

Where do customers choose a date?

On the Basic plan the date picker is on the cart page, the cart drawer, or both. On the Standard plan it can sit on the product page, so the customer chooses for that product.

General settings is where you pick the placement. If a required selection is missing, checkout asks the customer to go back to the cart or product page and choose, then continue.

Setup

What should I set before customers can book a window?

Turn the app on, then enable the methods you actually offer: shipping, store pickup, local delivery, or a mix. Set working days, time slots, a cutoff, and any dates the shop is closed.

For pickup or local delivery, add a location and turn that method on for it. In the theme editor, turn on the app embed for Delivery & Pickup – Scheduler, or the picker has nowhere to load.

Setup

The date picker is not showing. What should I check?

Confirm the app is enabled on the store you are testing, and that shipping, pickup, or local delivery is turned on.

Open the theme editor and confirm the app embed is on. Then check placement: cart page, cart drawer, or product page. The product page needs the Standard plan.

A closed weekday, a disabled date, a cutoff that has already passed, or a buffer that hides the next slots will leave the customer with nothing to select. If it is still missing, email support@codeofpiece.com with your myshopify.com domain and the page where you expected the picker.

Rules

How are shipping, pickup, and local delivery different?

Shipping dates apply to the store’s shipping calendar. Store pickup and local delivery are set per location, so the counter and the local route can keep different days and hours.

A customer only sees the methods you have enabled, and the windows for the method they choose.

Rules

How do time slots work?

A slot is a window, such as 10:00–11:00. You can use the same windows every working day, or different windows on each day. You can also offer a date with times turned off.

Slots can be hidden from their start time or from their end time, so a window that has already begun can drop off the list.

Rules

What is a cutoff?

A cutoff is the clock time after which new orders move to the next available date. A checkout after that time is offered the next open day.

Shipping, pickup, and local delivery can each keep their own cutoff.

Rules

What are buffer time and days ahead?

Buffer time is extra preparation, in minutes, before the next slot that can be booked. A buffer of 120 minutes hides windows that start too soon.

Minimum days ahead and maximum days ahead set how soon and how far out a customer can choose. Use them when an order needs notice, or when you only want the calendar to cover a set range.

Rules

How do I close a day?

Turn off a weekday, or add that calendar date to the disabled dates. Customers are not offered that day.

Add the date before orders can be placed for it. A date you close later does not rewrite orders that already have a window.

Rules

How do locations work?

Add a location with its address, then turn store pickup, local delivery, or both on for that location. Each location keeps its own schedule.

Basic includes up to 3 active locations. Standard does not limit the number. Shipping dates stay store-wide.

Rules

Can I set a price for each method?

Yes. Shipping price can set an amount for shipping, store pickup, and local delivery. Both plans include this.

Shopify still charges the customer. This website and the app do not collect card numbers.

Rules

When does the date picker appear on the product page?

On the Standard plan. Choose product page under widget placement, and the customer selects delivery details for that product.

Basic keeps the picker on the cart, for the whole order. You can also limit pickup or local delivery to selected products or collections from the location.

Orders

Where do I see the chosen time?

The method, date, and window are saved with the Shopify order. Open the order in Shopify admin, or in the app’s orders list, when you pack or load the route.

You can also add the date and time as order tags. If a window is missing, email support@codeofpiece.com with the order number and your myshopify.com domain.

Orders

Checkout says to go back and select delivery information. Why?

The store required a selection, and the cart or product page did not save one. The customer goes back, chooses a date, and continues checkout.

If the picker itself is missing, use the setup article for a hidden date picker before changing the checkout message.

Orders

Can a customer change the window after checkout?

The window is chosen before the order is placed. A change after checkout is between you and the customer. If you move an order, tell the customer and follow the new time in your own fulfillment.

Write to support if the window saved on the order does not match what the customer selected.

Account

How is the app billed?

Shopify bills the store every 30 days. Basic is USD 9.99. Standard is USD 19.99. The amount is shown in the Shopify admin before you approve it. This website does not take card numbers.

Basic includes up to 3 locations and the cart date picker. Standard includes unlimited locations and the product page date picker. For a charge you do not recognize, email support@codeofpiece.com from the store owner address and include the shop domain.

Account

How does Google Calendar work?

Google Calendar is optional. Connect a Google account in the app and choose a calendar. New orders can be added there as events, using the order fields you leave on, such as the date, the customer, and the address.

That Google account is used only to list calendars you can write to and to create, update, or remove those order events. Disconnect in the app when you want the sync to stop.

Account

How do I uninstall?

Uninstall Delivery & Pickup – Scheduler from the Shopify admin on that store. The date picker stops loading there.

To ask us to delete shop data we still hold, email support@codeofpiece.com with the subject “Data deletion” and your myshopify.com domain. Shopify can also send a shop redaction, which deletes that store’s app records.

Privacy

What shop and customer data is used?

The app uses the shop domain, order details, the method, the date, the time window, and the location. Customer details already on the order, such as name, email, phone, and address, may be stored so the shop can fulfill that window.

If you connect Google Calendar, order fields you enable can be written to the calendar you choose. We do not sell personal information. The privacy policy on this site describes this in full.

Privacy

How do I ask for data to be deleted?

Email support@codeofpiece.com with the subject “Data deletion”. Include your myshopify.com domain and say whether you are the merchant or a customer of a store using the app.

Merchants should write from the store owner email. We also act on the privacy webhooks Shopify sends the app: customers/data_request, customers/redact, and shop/redact.
