Who we are
codeOfPiece operates this website and provides Delivery & Pickup – Scheduler, a Shopify public app. Contact: support@codeofpiece.com.
Information we collect
When you use the help desk form, it prepares an email in your own mail app. We receive the details only if you send that email — name, email, store URL, topic, and message. This site does not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics. Hosting may record standard technical data, such as browser type and pages visited.
How we use your information
We use messages you send to respond to inquiries and communicate about our services. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Email delivery
The help desk form opens a draft addressed to support@codeofpiece.com. Your email address is used so we can reply to you. We do not receive the message unless you send it.
Data retention
We retain inquiry emails for as long as needed to manage support and business records, unless you ask us to delete your information sooner.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data by emailing support@codeofpiece.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe. Merchants should write from the store owner email and include the myshopify.com domain.
Cookies
This site does not use analytics or marketing cookies. If cookies are added in the future, this policy will be updated accordingly.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect the latest version.
Applicable law
This policy describes how codeOfPiece handles personal information on this website. It does not replace Shopify’s privacy policy for the store, checkout, or billing. Privacy requests are handled by email at support@codeofpiece.com.
Apps for Shopify Privacy Policy
This section applies to merchants who install Delivery & Pickup – Scheduler and to shoppers who choose a shipping, pickup, or local delivery window in a store that uses the app.
Information the app processes
Shop domain and merchant details Shopify makes available to the app. Order identifiers, line items as needed to show the order, and the method, date, time window, and location chosen for an order. Customer details already on the order, such as name, email, phone number, and shipping or pickup address, so the shop can fulfill that window. Locations and addresses the merchant enters. Product and collection identifiers used for product-page scheduling and availability rules. The scheduling rules the merchant sets, such as working days, time slots, cutoff, buffer time, and closed dates. Plan and charge status from Shopify. We do not collect card numbers.
How the app uses it
We use this information to show open windows, hide closed days and slots that fail the cutoff or buffer, save the choice on the order, sync a calendar when the merchant asks for that, and provide support. We do not sell personal information. We do not use shopper data for advertising. Checkout, payment, and app charges are handled by Shopify.
Who we share it with
With Shopify, because the app runs on Shopify and writes the chosen window to the order. With hosting providers that store and transmit data for the app. With Google, only when the merchant connects Google Calendar, and only to write the order events described below. If the law requires us to. If we reorganize the business, the same privacy commitments continue to apply to this product.
Google Calendar
Google Calendar is optional. If a merchant connects a Google account, we request that account’s email, basic profile, and Google Calendar access. We use them only to list calendars the merchant can write to and to create, update, or delete order events on the calendar they select. An event can include the order fields the merchant leaves on, such as the date, customer name, email, phone, address, and items.
Google user data is used only to provide that sync. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or use it to train models. Disconnecting in the app stops the sync and revokes the token. Google’s own privacy policy applies to the Google account.
Shopify privacy webhooks
The app subscribes to the privacy topics Shopify sends: customers/data_request, customers/redact, and shop/redact. A customer data request is used to respond to that request. A customer redaction removes the customer id and email we stored on that customer’s orders. A shop redaction deletes that store’s app records, including settings, locations, orders we stored, charges, and a Google Calendar connection.
Retention and deletion
We keep scheduling records while the app is installed, and for a limited time afterward, so we can finish support and complete a deletion request. Email support@codeofpiece.com with the subject “Data deletion” or “Privacy request”. Include the myshopify.com domain. Merchants should write from the store owner email. You can also start from the help desk.
